Going through menopause can feel like your body is changing in ways you no longer understand — and you’re not alone. From stubborn weight gain and low energy to joint pain, mood swings, and sleepless nights, these symptoms can feel overwhelming. At Braveheart Fitness, our programs are designed exclusively for women in midlife who are navigating these challenges and want to regain control of their bodies and confidence.
As estrogen levels drop, women are at greater risk of losing bone density and muscle mass — leading to an increased risk of osteoporosis and falls. Our sessions include:
Resistance training to build lean muscle and protect your bones
Exercises tailored to reduce the risk of osteopenia/osteoporosis
Focus on improving joint stability and balance
Menopause can increase your risk of heart-related issues, and many women notice a change in their stamina. Our cardio work is low-impact, effective, and safe:
Heart-healthy routines that boost stamina without overloading your system
Interval-based training to manage cortisol levels and avoid stress on your body
Options including walking-based HIIT, circuits, and low-impact aerobic movement
Not every woman thrives on high intensity. In fact, too much intensity can raise cortisol and exacerbate symptoms. That’s why we listen to your body:
Movement that honours your energy levels each day
Sessions that vary from restorative mobility work to energising full-body workouts
Breathwork and pelvic floor engagement techniques to support your core and inner health
Mental wellbeing is just as important. Menopause can impact mood, confidence, and even memory. We incorporate:
Mindful movement (including elements of yoga and pilates)
Breathing strategies to reduce anxiety and manage hot flushes
Stress relief techniques to regulate mood and support better sleep
